Thats a valid point but the big difference is that a president or prime minister is always going to be political and political leaders will say whatever they think they need to say in order to get re-elected

Im not saying a monarchy is perfect but at least they are above all that political stuff and they tend to hang around for a lot longer than any president or prime minister

Plus they bring in huge revenue from tourists
