Not true I am saying you don't go change the whole character after such a long run, have another series of female, black, Asian who ever character play another agent. That has nothing to do with not wanting to see a black guy on tv, it is keeping the character the way it started out.
Remember "The six million dollar man" then they spun off "The Bionic woman" Both were entertaining and had they brought in Lindsay Wagner to play the part of Steve Austin it would not make sense.
Not everything is about race when a person is white, black or any other skin colour. Don't look too deep into things you can find racism in a cup of coffee if you look too hard. I used to drink my coffee with milk until a very good Italian friend told me one day why you ruining the flavour of the coffee adding milk, I tried it black and liked it, I drink it black ever since. Decaf Nescafe unless I am at a restaurant ordering a nice coffee after the meal. Is that racist?
