It took us 9 years to get to the moon the first time round

Since then EVERY single president has announced that we are going back to the moon...... and here we are 55 years later and we still haven't done it !
if you believe they went there!!! they would have all kinds of shit there! either they are hiding it or they can't do it
of course they went

Do you not think if Russia had the slightest inkling that the moon landings were faked, they wouldn't have blabbed that all around the world ???

Plus how the hell do you get 400,000 people who worked for NASA at the time to keep a secret ?????

Put everything a side, how did they do this maneuver with the very small computing power of the 1960's and get it right, watch at 1 minute 20 seconds. How did the command and service module travelling that fast do a 180 degree turn and then come dock with the lunar module.

Tell me what you think.

Anybody with a half decent telescope can look up at the moon and see the 6 lunar landing modules...... They are still there !!!

Not to mention that every day we bounce a laser off a mirror that was setup by Buzz Aldrin to measure the distance to the moon.

Is it possible that unmanned space craft landed there?

It will take years to setup a simple self sufficient colony. At least 100 years.

Since the end of the cold war, there has been no real impetus to go back to the moon. Once we beat Russia in the space race we just sat back and patted ourselves on the back

But things are hotting up again now. Russia is pulling out of the ISS next year (2024) and focusing on building their own space station.

The ISS itself is due to be decommissioned in 2030 (just 7 years away) and China has announced they plan to have a lunar research station on the moons south pole by 2029. Even India landed their first lunar rover the other day

The way things are going I can see the space race getting going again over the next 5 years or so and this time it wont be the first one to set foot on the moon, it will be the first one to have a permanently manned base there
