Tried it in the past, doesn't it require you to exchange links? I'm not adding links to my site

Been out the adult industry for a bit, but I still retain my sites. I'm looking to boost one of my sites a bit and have a decent budget to buy links with, but I have a few questions

Obviously DA doesn't mean that much, so I'm generally buying links on sites with good SE traffic and low outgoing links

I have a few questions,

1/ Whats the deal with anchor text nowadays. safest way used to be brand name with a few exact match keyword sprinkled in, is that still the case?

2/ I have a gay site, so will buying links on straight sites help? Surely it can't hurt but might be a waste of money

3/ Buying too many links all at once is bad, right?

4/ John mueller says links from guests posts don't count, yet adult seems to be like the wild west

I know they may sound simple, but I don't wanna splurge all my money down the toilet

Yes it makes no sense to have one out for very one in, buy in coming links do it like pros.

Update : bought some guest posts. I find they work a lot better than hardlinks. Especially if the article is well written and in depth. I have a gay site so wrote a ton of blogposts. Probably 750 words plus. Bumped up my rankings but took a while

Off topic. Anyone have any gay sites they want to trade links with I'll be down. I have tons of them and think we can work out abc tradea
