describe your experience with reps this year
It has never been as good as in mainstream but this year reps are particularly flaky and bad at their work. They either do not respond or never follow up when they promise to check up on 'lost' payments

I'm not sure of that figure I talk to a lot of people off the board either on om here, skype or by email and without mentioning names or sites I can tell you a large number of program reps are just as frustrated with their company. They are paid to represent the site but they often get part answers, promises that an affiliate will paid now or just told to bs. And the number one reason is not because the program does not want to pay the affiliate it is because they are short on cash. Literally broke to the point where reps tell me they are missing their employment check for a week two or even a month.
When I announced at the end of last year there would be no more free promotion here starting January 1st, I hit up every program here by email and again by pm or skype message, nearly all but a handful of reps told me their site could not spend $99 a year for promotion.
There were 257 programs, designers, content companies and hosts that were posting their promotions here that are no longer here, simply put they can not come up with $199 a year for a thread.
So in my opinion do not blame the rep they have to do what they have to do so they stay employed.

This is one contributing factor to the demise of programs not the only reason.
