how long after paying can they charge back

This mail came and they want to buy 1 year header links on my blogs. They are offering me $600 for a link on 3 my blogs.I will sell them the links but I read a thread you can charge back on paypal,what is the time frame for a charge back and what if they pay by credit card through Paypal is it 4 months or can it be longer.I just do not want to get ripped off.

you should be fairly safe with paypal

Their only real justification for doing a chargeback would be to claim its fraud. In which case, Paypal would immediately block their account and/or card.

Plus if they send it as "friends or family" then paypal doesn't off them any protection

Not sure Visa or Mastercard has a time limit of charge backs.

I have seen 4 months thrown about but not 100% sure if that is correct.

Its maximum 6 months for MC and Visa.

That seems unfair for the merchant , it is to long.

I have never charged back or disputed any charge I have made, this is cheating the seller charging back for no reason.
