This and DMCA only really work if you are in America, they hardly go after non-resident people abroad. Unless you are a big cat.

There are a few laws now to juggle around, life is not getting easier running small to medium websites as it used to be.

Hell there's always been something to bitch about. At one time it was COPA, 2257 changes, cookies in EU, etc. We adjust and life goes on. SSDD... same shit different day.

The law applies to all websites, not just those in the UK.
i thought it applied to websites that only allow european traffic

the new york times. los angeles times, chicago tribune, and other websites were temporarily blocking all european traffic after gdpr went into effect

We recognise you are attempting to access this website from a country belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA) including the EU which enforces the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and therefore cannot grant you access at this time.

All websites accepting UK traffic no matter where the site is located. You can either implement age verification for all visitors from the UK or you could just block all UK traffic once the law is being enforced.

GDPR affects all of EU. Different law, different area of application, different consequences. There's been a batch of new laws coming about lately... yikes

When the UK leave the European Union do you see them getting more or less strict on adult websites?
