I would imagine the sweet spot is around $10 to $20 a month. Remember the higher the price, the fewer people will use it so make it cheap and people wont begrudge paying it for years and years.
You would probably need to do a free version aswell. Perhaps limited to 10 or 15 trades or whatever just so people will try it. That's how TradeExpert got their system rolled out so widely. Where they went wrong is instead of limiting the functionality of the free version (so people would buy a license), they took 1% of your traffic as "payment".
Madness really as they ended up with 1% of totally blind worthless unqualified traffic instead of thousands of subscriptions. They were good developers but had no idea on the commercial side
If you need someone to do the billing side then we have our own merchant account and could do it at far better rates than you would pay with a 3rd party billier like ccbill or epoch etc

I totally agree with that 1% skim analysis, nearly all the trade scripts did it on the free version and had they done it the way you suggested more people would have paid for the full version. 1% of crap traffic is worthless.

i am talking with a coder and considering it there would be a free 30-60 day trial no free version tho, pricing would probably be $10 a month for 1 domain then like $1-$2 a month for additional domains since its a script not something adult related would use stripe for billing.

Pricing seems very reasonable and fair, it would work for most people who are serious about trading.

Yep i would agree. Seems a fair price (you could probably get a bit more than $1 or $2 a domain)TheButcher wrote: ↑January 6th, 2023, 12:17 pmSandman wrote: ↑January 6th, 2023, 11:58 ami am talking with a coder and considering it there would be a free 30-60 day trial no free version tho, pricing would probably be $10 a month for 1 domain then like $1-$2 a month for additional domains since its a script not something adult related would use stripe for billing.

So long as its downloadable and we can host it on our servers like TradeExpert. That way we dont have to re-direct all our internal links to an external website
The sooner you can get it up and running the better as i know several webmasters holding back on PHP8 because of this.
And think of this - Right now you've got the perfect marketing opportunity. You can just go to TradeExperts support forums and post it all over there. They are obviously not reading their own forums and certainly not replying to anybody so you could get off to a flying start but mopping up all their pissed off customers

Look at it this way, you can always sell it lock stock and barrel if you decide not to run it.
