Whether you like it or not, life goes on. The best solution is to work hard, play hard and not dwell on the past, I was there in 2014 and when my friends told me these words I never took them seriously. It has worked. Do what you can to get back to normal and get on with life.

Thank you, and I know. I've been talking to one of her friends and she told me the same thing. Just move on, work on myself and what my problems were, and just make sure I'm doing something productive daily to get where I want to be.

There's a little chance that I can see her again, but I can't depend on that, either.

You are prolonging the pain and torturing yourself. Stop talking to her friends, face reality and accept it's over. Not until you get out of denial that it is over will the healing start.

I know, I'm jut talking to her to vent and try to figure out how to get myself back to good, nothing specific about my ex.
