I would not spend $4 billion on a company and give up being CEO. But then I don't have $44 billion nor do I think like him which may explain why I do not have his money

Tesla shares have taken a dive as well and investors are complaining. He's taking a huge salary as part-time ( if that) CEO.

What exactly has he built?

He started out rolling in dough thanks to Daddy's emerald mines. He arrived in silicone valley at the perfect time with money in both pockets. Not surprising that he managed to make money hand over fist. He used his money to buy his way in and buy the actual builders out.

A lot of Tesla revenue actually is generated by selling carbon offsets. Dig in to his companies and their successes/failures since he took them over. Don't believe the hype.

There's one thing he is good at, the pump and dump scams. For example his dodgecoin tweets. I'm not a fan.

to be fair, he didnt want to buy twitter in the first place. Hence why he tried to pull out but by then he'd already had a huge impact on twitters valuation so they took him to court and forced him to go through with the deal. Like shoopa said, I think he's just looking for a way out so he can go back to focusing on tesla / space X

Im sure he would happily sell it if there was anybody rich enough to buy it

Im not a fan either, especially after he tweeted that we should give in to Putin and let China have Taiwan.

He is a master of winning on the stock market, everything he does is plan and hi invest accordinly. But sometimes they seem like bets.
