Please Read: Major Change to the forum
As of January 1st 2023 there will be a major change to SponsorChat. If you run any website / business where you are soliciting for affiliates or clients, you need to post in one of 2 sections in the "Business Section" under "Affiliate Programs" or "Services & Products For sale."
These will be paid threads only and the price may vary at any time without prior notice. The price will not change for the duration paid. What you will get is a thread in either "Affiliate Programs" or "Services & Products For Sale" forum where you can add as many posts to as you wish during agreed upon length of time.
Once the campaign is over the thread will be locked and removed from the forum. You can re-post in it and it will be placed back online once you have agreed and made a new deal.
The price structure as of now which may change any time without prior notice is as follows:
3 months $79
6 months for $89
12 months for $99
If you have a thread in either forum and want it to keep it after December 30th 2022 please contact me and make a deal. All unpaid threads will disappear on December 30th 2022. Payment by Paypal only.
Happy holidays

Just a suggestion, but if you didn't limit those 2 sections (Affiliate Programs & Services & Products For sale) to 1 post per company then that forum would look (and probably be) a LOT busier
At the moment, its mostly just the same old titles being re-ordered over and over again which doesnt really encourage users to browse them (not when they've already seen that title 100 times before as some of them can be over 4 years old)
It also has a negative impact on your SEO. Instead of having lots of pages with lots of different titles that google can get its teeth into, you've got fewer pages with fewer titles and the first page of a title can be years old.
So when google crawls a post it will start with page 1 and go 4 or 5 links deep which means its probably not finding the latest posts as they are on the very last page (some of them can be on page 29 or whatever, way out of googles reach) And even if it does find the last page, its got to get through page 1,2,3 etc first and some of those pages can be years old and will therefore be downgraded by google (Which means the whole post will get downgraded in googles eyes)
Much better to just have as a normal (paid) forum like the main chat forum. You will have lots more titles for google to crawl and users to click on and the newest content will be near the top of each post, where google can find it easily. It would also encourage a lot more webmasters to post too
Hope ive explained that properly but up to you

Just to demonstrate what im saying about google, this link shows you what pages google has indexed for sponsorchat.com https://www.google.com/search?q=site:sponsorchat.com
You'll see that most posts only go as far as page 1,2 or 3. Anything deeper than that and google just isnt seeing it

Adrian I hear what you are saying and appreciate the advice as always, keeping the new posts related to the same program makes life easier for search and not cluttering the forum. Funnily enough I talk to a certain moderator from another forum and he started doing the same on his board, he agreed that it makes the place less cluttered. I won't mention the guys name or the board since I don't know if he would want me to.

This email today has got to be a gem. Guy wrote to me you can not stop me posting my program updates, it is a violation of free speech.
To which I replied no one is stopping you promoting your program, go tell that to the Los Angeles Times see if they will agree with you and give you free of charge ad space.

Word AndyR I broker domains for a living not just into affiliate sales and people ask me if I can find them a buyer for their domain, I say let's agree on a referral fee if I do they go I can list it online for free, I tell them go a head I need to put food on my table , this is what I do.

The only problem I see is there will be very few programs in that Affiliate program forum.

If a program can post here every week and can not afford 27 cents a day which is $1.90 a week then they were not serous posting their offers weekly. You have to remember 95% of the programs posting were not taking part in any Mainchat threads so they were only looking to get affiliates, they can still do that by buying a thread.
Less = more new affiliates for those posting
Peace

Let me guess, another American asshole blabbing about his constitutional right without even having a clue what this right entails. Did you tell him that you're a private entity and not the government? A private Canadian entity?TheButcher wrote: ↑December 26th, 2022, 9:19 amThis email today has got to be a gem. I don't know if I'm just running out of patience or if I'm getting grumpier with age, but I would probably just tell the asshole to fuck off.

I do not believe he appreciated my reply, I am not a morning person why I do not post here for a couple hours after I wake up, I write what comes into my mind and hit the submit button, most of the other times when I am not so grumpy I think if I should reword what i want to post
But he has not posted here since that email exchange.

It will weed out the programs who are not doing too well and can not pay $99 a year. You will not see too many designers, hosts or content peeps spamming any more, most of them can not find $99 to buy a life vest.

I never understood why they do that safety routine on planes where they instruct you to put on your life jacket in case of the plane going down.
The odds of you surviving in the ocean for more than 15 to 30 minutes is zero, the water is very cold. Hypothermia will kill you before any rescue vessels reach you and I can guarantee that no search and rescue will ever find the plane in the water get all the people out in that short of a time frame.

Not going to affect me I have no program to push,I see it bringing more action to those programs who sign up to this.
