I honestly do not get why people are so worked up about Musk buying twitter, all he's said is he wants less censorship, which I believe is a good thing. Why do people want platforms to restrict what can be said, why not read all opinions and make up your own mind?

Just think about it, imagine if all that was allowed on twitter was rap music, don't you want to see and hear other types of music?

I was using rap as an example, my point is why can;t everyone say what they think, some like rap others classical, others rock.....

I think Elon Musk has a good idea, let people say what they want, don't restrict it to one narrative.

Less censorship is a nice idea but where do you draw the line ? Are you going to allow people like Isis, Neo-Nazis, race hate groups etc post whatever they want ?

I watched a documentary on Musk the other day and he's really backed himself into a corner here. He obviously didnt want to buy twitter which is why he tried to pull out but it was too late. He'd already had a huge effect on Twitter's stock value and they managed to force him to go through with the deal.

Now he's massively out of pocket and desperately trying to think of ways to make twitter pay

He's got some weird ideas too. He's already suggested that we should give in to Russia and let Putin have Ukraine. He also says we should give up Taiwan to China. Likely because China is the biggest market for Tesla and he wants to get on their good side

I read some where as of December 13th 2022 he's worth 164 billion dollars and is the 2nd richest man according to Bloomberg, he's till not going broke even if Twitter totally fails.

I find them both to be let's say not very attractive specimens of the human race, but I find them both to be very talented and enjoy listening to them sing. I grew up listening to Elton and I have to admit 2022 has been the year for Dua Lipa, well done to her.
