Here's a question. If we had the Victorian age, followed by the Elizabethan age then what is this age called ???

On a light hearted note without taking anything away from this momentous moment in British history, we could cal it "The Chucky age' :)

I think he will be a great king, he has been working all his life for this day, sad that the Queen had to die for him to ascend to the throne, but that is how it is.

That was good one Charlizilian age

But what a sad thing your mother dies you are heart broken and grieving, the next you are King. All the best to the King.

Yeah very true. He's not had any time to grieve

The Brits know how to put on a good show, everything related to the royals is very formal and impressive. So does his wife Camilla become queen?

She becomes Queen Consort. Not quite sure what that means to be honest

You wait till the coronation when we get the crown jewels out and that big golden horse drawn carriage. That will be some show lol

My memory of high school is not that great when it comes to history, so this may not be all that correct. But I remember something along the lines of. When you marry a royal and he or she becomes king or queen, you do not become queen or king. Only blood line royals can ascend to the throne.

That is why the late Prince Phillip was not king Phillip.

Someone please correct me if this is not how it is.

Peace

Oh and queen consort means the wife of the reigning king, this I am pretty sure of. Our history teacher Mr Gumbrell was this old guy (he seemed old to me at the time, when you are 16 and the teacher is 40 he is old lol), he used to walk around with his pipe in the mouth yelling out important dates in history. I never really like him, if you talked in class or weren't paying attention he would creep up to you from behind and yell in your ear.

Imagine being king, lucky for him. Best wishes and a long healthy life to him.

He looks the part, right age, white hair, talks the way brits do which is kind a formal, how much do they get paid. Our president doesn't really get that much for the huge job he has to do.

Apparently there are 43 according to google.

Here's the list - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_c ... ign_states

Charles certainly seems to have the biggest kingdom of all the monarchs.

I didnt realise that the Commonwealth is now 56 countries and includes around 2.5 billion people. Im not sure if that means he is king of all of them ???

King Charles III
