I am listening if any Youtubers want to share some tips
Stop looking for reps if they don't care why waste your time and traffic at their program, fuck that.

I've looked into it and know some who do it. Some things of note.
A regular schedule helps. Monthly is ok as long as it's on a regular basis.
Sound is as important as image, sometimes more so.
Keep it as safe for work as possible and be ready to appeal strikes.
Accept the monetization offer. Rocket of The Rocket Review had a regular YouTube broadcast and was doing well. They did reach out to him for monetization. He declined because many times YouTube will use that as leverage against content (you ran a news story on genocide in Southeast Asia, we demonitized it, your piece was NSFW, it was demonitized). He had advertisers already (I was one of them), why let YT push him around. He finally got his first obscenity strike (you get up to three strikes), and he appealed it. Upon review, they banned him, because he wouldn't monetize and therefore was a waste of their money on bandwidth.
Don't underestimate the power of old content on YouTube. It may take a year or two before getting noticed. Then, we want to see everything. I've just started checking out Absolute Unit and Dashie Li. Kane Pixels did very well. Mischeif went mainstream, appearing on Adult Swim. It's kind of like music in that once you chart, they wanna check out your stuff before.
It is a real community on there. Many talk to each other. There is a convention for tubers called VidCon.
And needs to be noted, there's not just YouTube. There's a whole trend now of V-tubers on Twitch. Cartoon characters play games, watch shows, or just talk to their fan base. Projekt Melody is on Twitch, and Zone has a feed. Rocket still streams live on Twitch.
