Good question. Im not sure to be honest but i guess it would have to be a Visa/Mastercard thing as they are the ones refunding the users money

Actually i think your right. I just checked and we had to do one the other week where the user had signed up and rebilled 8 times and then came back claiming it was all fraud but he was only able to charge back the last 4 months

Ridiculous when you think about it. Why would it take anybody 8 months to figure out something was fraud but, as a site owner you have no choice but to just accept it

4 months after signing up other wise it will be 16 months if you wait another 4 months on top of the year membership.

In theory it sucks for the person who prepays for a year service and gets shafted after 4 months

I have never charged back a single purchase,a few times I was really disappointed with a site I registered at but never called my credit card company to request a refund or charge back.
