configuring Apache SpamAssassin

Spam is out of this world and my host wrote;


setup/enable Graylisting and modify SpamAssassin level to 7 or 8

No idea how to do this but will give it a try. Any downside to this, will people emailing me the first time for link trades get put in the spam folder because the email address they are sending from will not be recognized?

I haven’t touched cpanel in 10+ years I have no idea what’s good for cpanel for anti spam I do know spamassasin has been hot garbage for years now

If you raise the spam threshold settings you might lose real emails in the spam folder.

It's what I use but will take Sandman's advice and look into rspamd.com

Most of my spam makes no sense. They send shit like, get rid of ticks, find a Ukrainian wife, clean your gutters with this pressure washer.

A. I do not have ticks.
B. I do not want a wife.
C. I never clean my gutters.

They waste their time spamming any old shit to people.
