what if Mindgeek closes or sells their sites

With the recent news about the law suit plus Visa and mastercard halting payment billing what is Mindgeek starts closing down sites, selling them or is not as big a player in the industry. How will this impact the business for you and me?

I do not see Mindgeek closing their sites, they will pay any fines if levied against them and tighten their rules even more on who and what can be uploaded to their tubes. They are too big to close up.

Yeah thats true but even if they win their legal case against this girl, it doesnt mean that Visa/Mastercard have to go back to dealing with them.

As far as Visa/MC are concerned, Pornhub has been associated with child pornography and thats enough to cut them off completely and indefinately. And now Visa has been dragged into the same shit aswell, there's no way they are going to process credit cards for pornhub ever again

So now mindgeek have got a huge site with lots of traffic, but they cant make any money out of it (apart from whatever they get from affiliate sales)

The value of pornhub must be dropping like a stone. If I was in their shoes, I would definately consider selling up before there's nothing left

I suspect that at some point it will be announced that Pornhub (and other sites) are under new management. Probably be all the same staff but with new owners
