Originally the guy didnt want to cancel, he wanted to change his login details. It was only when i told him that none of his information was checking out that he asked us to just cancel it.
There's no way im going to cancel it on the word of a complete stranger who cant give me one shred of evidence that he is who he says he is
So the account is still active and interestingly he hasnt logged in since so who knows lol
He might not have access to the original email. His problem not yours you did all you can do.
Is this a scam or what

Well the user is still active, but he still hasnt logged in since i did the password reset
I also looked back through the logs and he had previously joined in Feb 2019 and then rebilled all the way through to Sept 2021 (31 rebills) then his card expired.
He then re-joined October 2021 and its been rebilling ever since. Both times using the same email address but different card numbers (neither of which match the card number he gave me)
Maybe he doesnt have access to the original email but not much i can do about it
If he charges back then so be it. We get 3 or 4 chargebacks a month anyway which is well below the 1% threshold

Depends if you are using a 3rd party biller or not (like ccbill or epoch). From memory I think its about 25 bucks for us. Plus they can only charge back the last 3 months

He's not using your site, not burning bandwidth and paying you every month. My idea of a good customer

If he's rebilling all that counts,he or she wants to use the site every day or once a year that is his business.

Yep he is still acive. So far this guy has signed up twice (both via the same affiliate) and rebilled 52 times. Think the email was a scam
Just to point out, this one user had made his affiliate $540.00 so far and counting !!!
