building one mega blog

[alina]

This might sound crazy but I am thinking of building one blog with dozens of categories instead of managing all my small blogs, what do you think of my idea.

Leave the existing blogs alone and start a new one if that is what you want. Any indexed pages of the ones there are still worth keeping.

There's an easy way to do this with wordpress RSS feeds plugins

I cant find the link now but i came across one the other day where you can basically setup RSS feeds from your smaller blogs and then have your big blog just read those feeds and automatically update itself each time you post

If you google "wordpress rss feed plugins" you should find it

The idea appeals to me, a blog with lots of backlinks, content and traffic.

Nice idea!

Saves money renewing a lot of domains each year

And your blog gets hacked all your traffic is down it is good to spread your eggs not have them all in one basket.
