You're welcome Bill. I was looking into using Let's Encrypt and installing Certbot for auto updates but it looks like Certbot won't do wildcard. If you do the registration you'll get notified 1 week, 1 day, and day of expiration. You can place multiple TLDs, wildcards, subs on one cert if you want. It looks so simple I think I'll just try that instead of messing with Certbot.

Yes it is! I checked out cloudflare and their free plan now also gives you a free cert to use on your server. It includes wildcard and says it's valid for 15 yrs.TheButcher wrote: ↑May 15th, 2018, 10:49 amThis is bad news for all the companies seling ssl's.But good news for us.

See what happens over time, things come out and are expensive, over time they get cheaper or even free.

Lets Encrypt isn't selling a thing. It works like a charm securing both www and non-www. Cloudflare is a group thing and doesn't verify your domain thus will produce security errors in some browsers. I tried both and elected not to use Cloudflare for that reason. Right now I have Lets Encrypt on several new domains and will use them on all in the future. It's supported by my host, integrated in my CP and will auto-update as certs expire (90 days).
