This is a major change in the law if SCOTUS over turns Roe v Wade and it seems to be happening, what are your thoughts.

I can write a lot of reasons why it is happening now. But I will keep this short. After his 2009 inauguration former President Barack Obama said
"Elections have consequences.” It’s the political way for winners to tell losers: “Tough luck, you lost. Get over it.” Or to quote another saying
"To the Victor Go the Spoils."

The Supreme Court is now a 6 to 3 split between conservatives and liberals, they hold a super majority, and the fight to over turn Roe v Wade has been going on form the day it was ruled to be the law of the land.

Presidents get to nominate the Supreme Court Justices, you win an election you get to pic your man or woman. Former President Trump pushed the Court into a Conservative Super majority playing field.

So now the Court is going to side with conservative decisions, they know why they were nominated, forget what they say during he Senate confirmation hearings, that is just for show.

My position on abortions is the same as it is for alcohol, cigarettes, marijuana and prostitution. They should all be legal. Making anything illegal increases the crime involved, corruption, risks to the individuals involved and death.

Let me say I have never had the desire nor want to try marijuana, so whether it was legal or not I would not try it. But making it illegal only causes problems as I mentioned above. My views on prostitution are the same, if you really think about it we are all hookers, we sell our time for money. Some sell their time by the hour, some by the day others by the month. When I call a plumber to fix something he charges me for his time. A flat rate to come out, and "X" number of dollars for every 15 minutes it takes to fix the problem. You hire a designer, he charges for the job by the hour or a flat rate which is basically his price per hour he wants.

Making anything illegal only creates personal and public danger. My 2 cents.

There will be a boom in illegal private abortions. Not good for the women who undergo these procedures.

It's not over until the decision is made, and e will see if any of the judges change their tune by then.

How often has the Supreme Court ruled to over turn a previous SC decision?
