For you design critics out there. Design means about nothing, except to the designer and the people that think design matters.

Traffic in and clicks through the funnel to payment is what matters. If the site is pretty along the way, that MIGHT be a SLIGHT bonus.
Content is the king, still. Functionality is the base requirement.
SEX.com and PORN.com have both.
This gives designers a budget to fuck around with the pretty.

You should not judge a book or a website by the design, but by the size of the bank accounts of the people that operate the site and then the owners bank account.

NOTHING else matters.
Unlike most of you, they had millions to buy these domains, so they obviously know something most of you have never experienced. Millions of dollars to spend!!

Porn.com is pulling content from other tubes, which is not the best way to build your own tube, and sex.com is just a horrid looking landing page. Two of the best adult domains totally done wrong.

I once read the history of sex.com it is a real life drama , i you have time read about the domain ownership and battles that went on when it was registered.
