how many "likes" do you need to make a sale?
.
You own a website, or 100 websites.
What kind of customer would you prefer?
One that saunters in and says how much he likes your products but buys nothing and leaves?
Or one that comes in, knows what he wants and goes ahead and buys from you without spending too much time telling you how much he likes it?
You’d be mad to want the first kind right?
Yet this is what people are settling for every day when marketing their businesses on social media.
They get likes and comments, but they don’t make sales.
Can’t deposit likes in your checking account, can you?
You need leads that buy.

Social media likes trigger the release of the feel-good hormone, Oxytocin. And in a world full of depressed people this can be the only uplifting thing in their lives. But feeling good doesn't equate to having money in the pocket. Give me the buyer anytime.

I am not on social media, I tried Twitter and honestly did not get any worthwhile members to the board , a couple who joined were just posting garbage and nothing worth reading. My 2 cents on social media.

If it makes you feel good why not, it does not harm anyone in the process, maybe they feel good giving you a like.

Likes help get you more followers, so it's a good startegy to "like" posts.
