You can force non-SSL to use SSL

add this to your htaccess

Code: Select all

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]

If only there was a license to buy an SSL for a domain and all subdomains you could ever want on that domain

It has to be SSL today or Google will look at it in a negative light

It is a ranking signal, announced 2014.

There is NO penalty for NOT using SSL.

Google does review your site and give a bonus for having an SSL.

No negative light,, just NO LIGHT or not as much light.

What is most surprising is how billing companies allow non-secure server layer sites to use their billing pages.

SSL has been the standard for years
Stop looking for reps if they don't care why waste your time and traffic at their program, fuck that.
