1. I didnt suggest copying pornhub. (Although there is no reason why I wouldnt suggest it)
2. Pornhub did NOT get sued because they dont use an infinite scroll ! They got sued for non-consensual videos which has nothing to do with this topic

How many of these sites you visit or know about have updated at all in the past 5 years? Prove it! What tracking are you using! or are you just remembering the last time you were masturbating at your computer to a tube site? 7 pages is the current size of the infinite scroll, if it were enabled. Infinite scroll can be limited to as many pages as you like.

At least for now, enabling infinite scroll would create one page with more ads, more text and more images to click. The main page would be larger for scrollers for sure~!
Now you have to stop and click next and wait for the next page to load.

Infinite scroll can show an ad while it loads, Mine does! Increase banner impressions, which increases interest in ads and later clicks. Especially good on TGPs

Not going to complain about the current view, I would split test one column mobile vs two column mobile. I think one column will be better, larger thumbs, but fewer on the screen, so need to run a test, not guess, or copy PornHub!

Enabling ONE LONG page while there are only 7 small pages to complete it, would be a good thing for this site at this time.

Then as the site grows convert the homepage to a category page that infinite scrolls to show all the two pages of categories.

Infinite scroll does NOT require you to scroll all the content on your site to the one page. You can set it as a category page or even to a few categories. This could keep the infinite scroll to a minimum, while keeping scrollers on the site.

The point, the owners of the multimillion dollar sites are on permanent vacation. They are not working on their sites.

In most cases they hired a company that is less dedicated and fervent (as I would attempt to be). This company to keep profits high, then does as little as possible to keep the contract.

now some facts

Infinite scroll has been proven to reduce the bounce rate on many sites by providing users access to additional content without requiring specific click interactions.

There are numerous Wordpress plugins that enable infinite scroll with the ability to show ads while loading, the ad then remains on the page between each loading spot on the page. For those that scroll back up to click!!

Infinite Scroll works well in certain circumstances. ie you have a SINGLE list of items that you want to present to the user (like Twitter or Facebook does) and you DONT have a footer.

It does NOT work well if your site is any more complex than that !

This is why tube sites dont use it. Just look at https://xhamster.com/ and you can see they have a country specific list at the top, followed by a new videos section, followed by a trending videos section, followed by trending categories, trending channels/producers and a page footer. Obviously infinite scrolling would NOT work in this case as you would not know which list to scroll

As for https://somenudes.com/, it already has a bottom banner spot (which would never be seen if it was infinite scroll). Ontop of that, as the site grows i can see that he might well want to have his most popular pins across the top of the page (always a good idea to show your best stuff first), followed by a new pins section and maybe his top contributors accross the bottom (encourages people to contribute as they get their link on the front page)

None of this can be achieved if its a infinite scrolling page. You might get a bit of extra functionality with infinite scroll but it MASSIVELY restricts what you can do with your site

A much better option is to have a "MORE" button beside each list allowing the user to decide what he wants to view. It works great on mobiles and works especially well with Masonry style layouts like https://somenudes.com/
