we are pretty much stuck with TE for a trade script since there is no demand for a script, trades are not as big as before.

I really dont understand why TE dont switch to a monthly subscription like pretty much every other software app is nowdays

Not many webmasters will want to stump up $500 up front for a license but they would go for say $10 a month. That way TE would make a lot more money and they would be more inclined to support and develop it

There are a bunch of old scripts that could be bought updated and sold , I thought of doing it before but decided to work on my non adult projects instead.

I totally agree with you, $500 up front for a new webmaster might be unrealistic, but everyone can afford $10 a month.

Yes I proposed it on their forum and i also suggested it to their tech support guy ages ago but no response

The free version used to takes 1% when I used it , if you have a site with 250K hits a day that is giving away 2,500 hits a day for not paying the price of the paid script.
