There is no healing my lungs. I blew them up. Recovery will take a transplant. For me to receive a transplant, someone else will have to die. I'm not a believer, but if I was I'm not so sure that praying for my recovery is a good thing.

For all who are religious,I am an atheist and respect everyone's choice of faith, but let's be real when you are having a heart attack you call 911 not a priest, do not fall into the trap of thinking God will cure you. Science and medicine are what you need when sick not a prayer.

I seen the lung doc today. He thinks I'm a good candidate for transplant surgery and he's putting in a referral to the transplant team for me. Since you'll have to be within 2-3 years of kicking the bucket to rate a referral, I guess my days a numbered. Not really news to me, I kind of suspected that for some time now. But fuck... it's depressing when someone else rubs it in your face.

You probably will not read this just wanted to say I am thinking of you HeidiHoe & hope you are doing good .
