Why did Donald Trump Jr go to Greenland yesterday

[jag]

Was it to try make a deal so his father the president elect Trump can buy Greenland for America?

[TheButcher]

In my honest opinion, it was a show. DJT said he wants Greenland the optics was his son went there for a few hours to deliver a message or ultimatum, that's how I see it. I would not read anything into it.

While Greenland is an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark, a 1951 treaty gives the United States some responsibility over its defense. The current Greenlandic and Danish authorities have affirmed Greenland's right to self-determination and assert that Greenland is "not for sale".

So many people talking of Greenland he may hav said let me go see what it like.
