Do super moons affect the tides and oceans any more or less than usual?

No not really. The moon's orbit is elliptical so sometimes its closer to earth and sometimes its farther (away which does affect tides)

A supermoon is just when the sun happens to be shining on the side of the moon facing us (ie full moon) at the same time as its closest approach

There are more pressing issues in life than looking at the moon
