England football manager Gareth Southgate has resigned

[TheButcher]

England football manager Gareth Southgate has resigned, not unexpected after the 2:1 defeat on Sunday against Spain, but I must say getting to the final was an achievement in itself.

Yep he's done well in his time. Two Euro finals but never quite finished it with a trophy

Wonder who they will get next ?

[TheButcher]

Yes sir Southgate did well compared to other managers.

My guess either Eddie Howe or Thomas Tuchel

Why does a manager or any person who did well end up resigning or being fired if the team loses,he did get them that far in the competition isn't that worth some credit, one extra goal in the final match that is not a sign of a loser.

It happens in every sport, your team loses the head coach or manager gets replaced.

Who got the job?

The team does not have a new manager yet they are down to a short list of 4 names.
