So Ukraine is going to capitulate to Russia
I do believe I said Ukraine would lose the war to Russia and some people here told me it would never happen. Well I have a feeling my prediction as always will come true. They simply were out matched in the military sense. I said this before the day will come when Ukraine will look back say if only we had listened to TheButcher and stopped this war and not lost so much land and people.
They lost it before it started, and it cost the west hundreds of billions of dollars. So the key points they will now have to accept are going to be.
1. Agree to all the territory Russia has taken as part of Russia.
2. Become a neutral country, non-aligned to any organization aka not become a member of NATO.
It's not just me saying it, read this Guardian article.
"US and European officials discuss possible Ukraine-Russia peace negotiations – report
Talks are under way to outline what Ukraine might have to give up to secure a peace deal with Russia, the US news channel NBC has reported, citing a senior US official and another former senior official who have briefed the network about the tentative plans."

In an all out war then YES. But I predict Putin will do everything he possibly can to screw with the 2024 US election and make sure Trump gets elected. After all, Trump has pretty much admitted that he would cave in to Putin's demands. How else could he stop the war within 24 hours as he claims ??porntraveller wrote: ↑November 7th, 2023, 10:10 amNeither are a threat we can kick both their asses form here to next Sunday in a heart beat

Plenty of people agree with trump on this , there is 0 reason for the USA to spend tens of billions arming Ukraine 0 reason.

How about stopping a dictatorship from taking over a smaller weaker country by force ??? This is about the global world order. Dont forget, China is eyeing up Taiwan right now and if Putin gets away with it then that sets a precedent for China to follow. They might well feel they can roll the dice and get away with invading Taiwan
Plus if Trump caves in then the whole of Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and all the other countries that have spent billions supporting Ukraine will NEVER trust the US again. The US will be completely isolated in the world just at the time it needs all the allies it can get to face down China
And as for the billions the US is spending.......it comes to just 0.3% of GDP. That's actually far less than most of the European countries are providing

It seems Ukraine knows they lost the war and now they have to bendover take what the Russians tell them. They had an agreement to end this war a month into it moderated by Turkey but they backed out.

Number one rule of business stop the financial bleeding, do not throw more good money after bad. Ukraine lost, it's now up to Russia to lay down the terms of surrender.
$113 Billion dollars from the USA later not sure how much European and other countries sent over, probably well over $200 Billion dollars a conservative estimate.
Even Zelensky is now begging for credit because he has been told that no more good money after bad. No one is going to waste any more cash on this adventure.
He knows if he admits Ukraine lost he is not going to be in good shape.
A lot of innocent people lost their lives, the Ukraine lost a lot of territory because they couldn't accept staying neutral which they now will be forced to do, they could have kept the Dombas regions just gave them internal autonomy.
he is a dead man walking and he knows it, if I was him I would get on a private plane with his family fly to one of his mansions overseas. I see the military or some factions in Ukraine doing things to him that I will not mention.
If I was Russia at this point I would say hand over the land bridge to and including Odessa and take a neutral position before we take it and more.
It's over. I said it when this war started, make a deal do not lose people and land, but what do I know.

Let me add Poland, Hungary and to a lesser extent Romania might very well enter the conflict with or without Russia's agreement to take parts of Ukraine for themselves. Zelensky was played and he now knows he was taken played like a fiddle.

If we let Putin take Ukraine then he will have control over both the world's oil and gas supply AND the world's food supply
@Butcher - I respect your opinion but I honestly dont understand how you can side with a man like Putin. This is a guy who rules by fear and routinely murders his opponents. We all watched the public murder of Prigozhin a few months back and then there was the poisining attempt of his number 1 critic, Navalny (who he's now thrown in jail). Back in 2004 he poisened the president of Ukraine, Victor Yushchenko and then there was the shooting dead of the opposition leader Boris Nemtsov right outside the kremlin
Hes used weapons of mass destruction (ie Novichoc - one of the most deadly nerve toxins ever created) not only in his country but in the UK and Germany too. Its been proven that he's guilty of interfering in US and UK elections and is responsible for dozens of cyber attacks
We all know just what this man is capable of and I know you've voiced a negative opinion of him in the past.
I respect your opinion but I just dont understand it
