The buyers have spoken against these 4 cylinder mills in the C and E class AMG performance models and Mercedes has realized they fucked up and is bringing back the V8 cars around 2026

Downsizing to a 4 was a big mistake, they got to realize what a stupid move it was and are hopefully correcting it, nothing can replace a V8 period. The depreciation on the 4 banger AMG's will be a blood bath but hey that is life.

It is not about getting by a V* sounds drives way better. A 4 needs a high compression ratio, super charger or turbo to put out the numbers, it is not all about numbers.

I respect the rules of any road I drive in but it is about that sound a V8 makes that no other engine configuration can, sure ev’s have that initial torque but they lack that melody you hear from an eight
