July 2023 the Hottest Ever Month on Record, Likely Warmest in 'Tens of Thousands of Years'

The first three weeks of July have been the warmest three-week period on record

July 3 was the world’s hottest day ever recorded

Human-induced climate change is the cause, experts have repeated. The burning of fossil fuels is releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, and warming up the world

In 100 years some places might see 60 or even 70 degree temperatures, that is scary.

Well 40 years ago in London you had 25C days and it was considered a nice hot Summer. Those were the days, not these hot days we get every where now.

When they say in tens of thousands of years how far back have they been tracking temperatures across the world.
Stop looking for reps if they don't care why waste your time and traffic at their program, fuck that.

They can track temperature through fossil records.

Fossilized tree rings can give us yearly temperatures and fossilized coral rings can give us daily temperatures

I knew they can tell the age of fossils never knew they can tell how hot it was in a particular year by examining fossils.

Yep carbon dating has been around for quite some time, we know the half like of 14 carbon so the rest is pretty easy.
