Real question, what's wrong with people who come into other people business just to spam backlinks ?, is fine if you go into a weird old forum or website who is old or just own for a guy who don't work on that, but what's wrong with those people who think they gonna sign up on a forum with good SEO and create backlinks just like that, even without asking , let me know ur thoughts

Those backlinks don't even pass link juice to their site, assuming the site is pre-set to flag comment links as no-follow, as it's the case almost everywhere, and if it's not, google will recognize those links as spam anyway because a lot of people post links to their sites as comments, so they're irrelevant. I'm guessing it's just a bunch of losers who heard that links to their site from other sites are a good thing so they spam blog comments/forums, it worked once, but not anymore, now it works against them.

Yeah is pathetic, mostly those people place them on the Signature and i have no problem with that, i think at some point we all have done something similar, but like u said for example in my forum profile links and signature from standard users are all no follow, they're just wasting time

Yeah, it's annoying as fuck, but I'm guessing those are mostly automated and trigger comments based on your keyword/title of the page, or someone's really stupid, there's no other explanation.

I see it daily, after a couple of months starting Sponsorchat it was out of control. I think it was the second month I added a re-captcha and anti-spam mod to the forum script, plus I made it where the first post can not show up until I or one of the moderators checks it out and approves it.

I strongly suggest anyone running a forum or site where replies are available does the same. This cut spambots and spammers 100 percent. Recently I went a step further and changed the settings where new members can not add a signature and profile information until the first post is approved. I did this because I started noting spambots signing up with a link to the site they wanted to promote and those links getting picked up by search bots.

One of the first thing I check before approving a new member is their email address, you can tell instantly it is a spambot account.

Yeah that could be a good idea, but usually people who does that, have 0 idea about SEO, with simple rules on robots.txt they can spam all they want the won't get nothing but ofc, no one wants people shiting on their house

There's a lot of automated tools who're available to do that, and sometimes can bypass catpcha
