Any f you know how many times this pornstar.com has been up for sale and changed hands?

I remember it started out as a non-adult site back around 1998, then a couple of years later it was part of xpays, then it was blingbucks run by Ben Protzmamn who used to post here and advertise. he was one of the nicest guys I ever met in on here. Then I think it was sold to Deepak Agarwal aka Deecash. I didn't keep up with the rest of the change in owners.

$1.5 Million I am pretty sure that is what Deepak paid Ben when he bought it, what it sold for since Dee bought it I have no clue.

If I am not mistaken pornstar.com and pornstars.com are identical sites owned by the same guy using cambuilder.com for their white label cams.

I did have someone approach me last year about buying TAC and they were valuing adult websites at between 15 and 18 months revenue. On that basis that site would be worth bugger all looking at the traffic

Obviously huge potential though if somebody put a bit of work into it

the domain has value but if asking price is $1,500,000 and it is valued at 18 months income it has to be doing $83,333 a month gross which is very easily possible for a domain like pornstar.

There is no way that site is doing anywhere near that. Ive thrown away domains with more traffic than that

I respectfully would disagree, I think it is doing way more in sales.

Don't fall for Alexa rank, yes it is very low at 2,460,849 but it also shows 77.47% of the search traffic is from pornstar.com

You can get more sales with less traffic that is searching for something than a lot of traffic that is not looking for something.

20 years ago I am sure you will remember sites were buying traffic at ridiculous rates, up to $15 CPM, if you tell a 2021 webmaster sites would pay you $15 for 1000 exit or popunder hits they will think you are crazy and don't know what you are talking about but that was then. The model was throw enough shit against the wall and some will buy, but that was when there was at most 100 paysites out there if that.

Today with search traffic you can make sales even though every one seems to be running a membership site. I would guess they are doing way more than $3k a month is gross sales.
