Playboy cancelling "Playmate of the year"

Why is Playboy cancelling "Playmate of the year" and replacing it with "Playmates of the month" to recognize all 12 playmates in a year. This sounds to me as dumb as when they announced no more nudity and then had to do a 360 degree when they realized it was a bad decision.

My advice to Playboy management is. There is one winner in ever race, not 12.

This seems another dumb change.
