My former co-workers dad passed away Wednesday and I went to his funeral this morning. Why they had to hold it at 8.20am is not the point, but that made me get up early to shit shower and shave, whatever. There were around 40 people there, they did the little ceremony and buried him, then we all went to this hall for a snack and drinks. Not sure how else you would describe it. If you saw one person cry there I'll change my name to anything you want. It was like a cock tail party, drinks in hand, finger food on the table and everyone catching up and talking, some were outright laughing at jokes.

It has been a while I have not been to a funeral but laughing and jokes is not very respectful to the guy you just lowered into the ground. Supposedly you care enough to show up at his funeral, keep the laughter down. The best was I started talking to his cousin, all dressed in a short navy dressed, she had nice tattas and is recently divorced. She looked around 45 maybe a little older, I got he number and we set a date for brunch tomorrow. Some funeral!

I have said this to my family, friends and even posted here about it. When I die I don't want to be taken to any house of worship, no religious ceremony or priests, cremate me and if you want to have a get together, have some music, booze and a good old knees up dance away.

Why cry about the dead, respect, love or hate them when they are alive. Too late when they are worm food. Hence I want to be cremated not fed to the worms!
