Me and Mike get along well, he's been married to my sister for 8 years, they have 2 kids. He goes to work every day works his tail off, my sis goes to work spends all her money on clothes and make up. That's what i see happening. Neither of them are cheating or seeing another person.

They live a rather boring life, work > home > dinner> sleep . They don't have money to do much and I understand so not judging them. My sister could be more considerate not blow all her money on herself when Mike works to pay for everything in the family. But that is not my problem.

Here is the problem, Mike says Kimmy hasn't had sex with him in over a year, and he's tried everything, the flowers, buying her little gifts, but now it's got to the point she says you want sex go find someone else, I have gone off sex. The guys loves her and I said he is not cheating and he swears she is not seeing anyone else. But he wants to have sex with her. I said listen this shit is weird I can not talk to her, he says she won't go see a counsellor or therapist, she just says you want sex go find someone else move out.


What the heck do i tell him, I do feel for him, she's 49 and he's 50,both seem healthy not sick or anything. So it's not a medical issue or cheating one as far as I can tell. Any tips what I can tell him to do?

There are so many scenarios that could be playing out, or a combination of one or more. Hard to tell not knowing the couple.

She might be pre or post menopausal. She could be stressed out with a number of things, she could be just tired of her man. She could be seeing someone else or plan on seeing someone else, and this is the excuse she is giving him to leave home before she actually does hook up with another guy. It's not simple giving an opinion not knowing her or him and the dynamics in their relationship.
