[BUSINESS] call me a dumb shit - WP help

#1

Post by fantastico » January 18th, 2019, 12:36 pm

I just deleted 20 blog posts on my WP blog by accident, and cleared the trash too. Is there a way to recover deleted posts without re-installing yesterdays mysql back up, so i do not end up losing today's posts not in that back up?

I have never seen a plugin to do this, it would be nice though.

You can not do it with a plugin, the posts are stored in the database.

You could ask your host if there's a backup of the database before they were deleted, then roll back the whole DB if there is.

If you have nightly back up's that is more than enough for most instances.

I did this in December on one of my blogs, and my host said the only solution they had was to upload the last back up, they did and then it was all good.
