Brexit in the UK

#1

Post by britporn_mike » January 16th, 2019, 1:04 pm

It's an important topic, I hardly do politics threads but this one is serious. The Government lost the vote miserably yesterday on Brexit, today the House of Commons will vote on a motion proposed by the labour leader on a vote of confidence in this Government. For the Brits here and other who have an opinion what do you think.

Should we have another referendum on staying in Europe or not?

PM May survived the vote of confidence by a small margin. 325 to 306. She has tried her best to make the best deal with the EU, personally I think it falls short of what the UK could have negotiated and come March 29th when Brexit happens, it might be not all if could have been. But that is how it played out.

How many referendums do you need, the people have spoken, the government should execute the will of the people.

Nope March 29th is the official date the UK wil leave the Union, with or without a deal, unless the Government withdraws it's Article 50 application.

It is the best thing for the UK since joining that stupid club. I support Brexit 100% and Nigel Farage deserves to be PM
