What's all the protests really about?
"Amid a wave of diverse local grievances, protests have erupted across Southern and Western Europe this week, sweeping through France, Albania, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Greece.
Demonstrations against living costs and school conditions have rocked France since late September, with many turning violent. Meanwhile, Albania has entered its fifth day of anti-government riots and protests over general economic conditions have taken place in Milan and in several cities in Portugal."

This all started because of the cost of living crisis which has been sparked by the war in Iran. Although, in Albania it started because the government is allowing Jarred Kushner and Ivanka Trump to build a huge mega resort in a wildlife protected area
One way or another, this all leads back to Trump

Macron has made a move to curb the protests
"French President Emmanuel Macron has announced a ban on what he described as “illegitimate” protests across France following weeks of escalating unrest led by students.
Macron said the restrictions were intended to contain the unrest while the government considers further measures to address the situation.
Following a meeting with intelligence chiefs and senior ministers, the French president explained that demonstrations organised by recognised groups would be permitted to proceed, although authorities could alter their routes.
However, protests organised by “individuals or groups with no legitimate authority” would be banned, while requests submitted by recognised organisations, including trade unions, would be “examined in accordance with the law.”
“The rules are simple and I think they’re common sense,” Macron said. “The general recommendation is that there should be no demonstrations in the coming days.” "

I think a lot of this has to do with Europe now feeling the pinch from the war in Iran and the spike in oil prices. They predicted that the cost of living crisis would first hit Asia, then Europe as our stockpiles of oil ran out towards the end of this year, then it would hit the US next year
I also think Putin is doing everything he can to stir this up.
