The Floating World was an RSS aggregate feed of adult news sites, originally focused on exotic dancers. Plus, it was a good resource for industry people.

I referred to it as "The Obituaries" because it also included gossip sites. ("I wake up in the morning and read the obituaries. If my name's in them, I go back to bed." - George Burns)

The Floating World gave us industry headlines at a glance, gave publicists a gauge of how a release placed, and kept us abreast of new industry news sites.

The site didn't make it far after the 2008 stock market crash. Didn't help that their biggest affiliate was Movies By Mail, which got caught up in the Max Hardcore obscenity trial. MBM went out of business shortly after. Redor was living in Porn Valley, we'd cross paths in public sometimes. He's probably branched into something more lucrative.
