I turned a corner last Wednesday but I'm still sorta deep in the woods. The steroids and antibiotics have me feeling like a grumpy Good Year blimp. I took my last tabs yesterday and hopefully that part of the misery will end. Still waiting to schedule the CT scan... that's the VA for ya I guess... lol. I'll give 'em till Monday and I follow up. This week is (routine) colonoscopy week. Yay!!! My life just fucking sucks lately! lol

It sounds you might be heading in the right direction. Did I misunderstand or you have a colonoscopy weekly. I have had one years ago, and honestly I panicked more the last day with the junk I had to drink than the procedure. I went in, they gave me an iv, asked if I wanted to watch on the over head monitor I said no. The worst part to be honest was when the doctor who was sitting on the right side of me, and there was a table with this garden hose looking thing on it, I had googled all about the procedure and was not happy where that thing was going to end up.He started sticking his finger in my ass, that was uncomfortable and embarrassing but like 20 seconds later the propofol in the iv took me out. I woke up he said all was fine I took out a polyp , I went back 10 days later for the biopsy results he said nothing dangerous. All the best HeidiHoe.

Weekly? Oh hell no! It's scheduled this Friday so I have to do the prep before hand making this week suck. Doc has me repeat it after 5 yrs instead of 10 yrs since there's a family history. The procedure is simple but the prep really sucks

I was sure I misunderstood you before. Yep have to get one every 5 years, and the day before sucks because I am diabetic and eat a little every 2-3 hours, so going a whole day on clear liquids and jello doesn't sit too well with me, all the best HeidiHoe.
