The balls some ungrateful people have, how do you turn down an invitation by the US when they are funding you and supporting you every way. You do not decline an invitation by the White House no matter who you are, and on top of it if Yulia Navalnaya was to be present she is the widow of a guy who was against the current leadership in Russia.

I think there is valid political reasoning behind this decision.

Navalny's political aim was to overthrow Putin's government, not so with Volodymyr Zelensky. His only aim is to protect his country and he does not want to be seen to be actively campaigning for regime change in Russia

For the two wives to be seen together would give Putin the chance to say to his people "see ?? Kyiv is combining forces with Navalny's team to try and destroy Russia and it's government"

Its a simple political calculation and one that makes sense

That is how it has always been through out history. The powerful countries do what they want. Forget nice and bad or good and right, the power is with those who are strong. Ukraine never had a chance and still has no chance to win this thing, the best solution if you agree with me that seeing less people die is to make a deal. The terms of the deal now are what Russia tells them. They blew the negotiation part when they backed out of the Istanbul deal. This thing is now a foregone conclusion how far Russia wants to take not if. I said it here the other day, everything east of the Dnipro river and the southern coast including Odessa is what is for sure.
If Ukraine does not end it there the whole of Ukraine will be lost to the Russians, Poles and Hungarians. The former two countries will enter the west and take over parts of Ukraine.

Not what i want to see happen but what is realistically going to happen. I am not Russian nor Ukrainian and I have no dog in this fight, all I want to see happen is no more innocent people die, this is my only wish.

Lets say France or any other nato country sends in soldiers do you really think Russia will dare attack them or the country they came from. We will flatten Russia if they kill one of our soldiers.

I doubt they will care where the troops are from if they are fighting them they are fair game. I hope we do not get to that point.
