Not what we need at the end of the year, brings back memories of December 2019.........

https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/be ... 023-12-04/

"PARIS, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Belgium has reported an outbreak of highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza, commonly called bird flu, on a poultry farm in the northwestern part of the country, the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) said on Monday."

Bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), commonly referred to as "The mad cow disease" caused me more stress, I could not get a nice steak at many places.

We've just had our first human case of H1N2 in the UK last week. Its a new form of swine flu but apparently the patient didnt work with pigs so they are now trying to track down how he caught it. They are worried its human-to-human transmission

How he contracted it will be good to find out to see if it was from an infected animal or another person who does not have symptoms.
