Having posts from the past with broken images and links is not great for se.

some smart php coding type write a plugin and sell it, this is extremely useful and worth it to buy, not just here or in adult, but for every WP site owner who cares about their blogs and seo.

I just installed it and it found a few broken links, it is a nice little box of tricks.
