Some good advice here in a short sentence. Buy your own domain forget about leasing one.
You realize you don't OWN a domain. You are leasing it.

You have a contract with a registrar that has a contract with ICANN.

You are the registrant. NOT THE OWNER!!

So all you anti leasing people need to do some light reading and understand how ignorant you read to those of us that think we know more. (Meaning I am attempting or being an ass or judging, just saying. I do dumb ass shit daily, too! Happy when someone nicely points it out.)

;)

Did you read the part above where it says you do not OWN THE DOMAIN, you are leasing it?

That seems a lot of money per year for a domain unless it is something special

You can meet an honest domain owner or get shafted, be careful.

If I make a deal it is final and would never change the terms , that is how I roll.

I bought my house and leased my car, I would not lease a domain.

Buy it why lease it, it's not as if you are going for sex.com pr porn.com it's probably not worth the annual price he is asking for.

This would be determined in the CONTRACT of LEASE!

Think about this one; what if he is onto a good domain with organic traffic that makes him loads of sales.
