Yes, I am an Internet Consultant. I manage/consult on sites and own sites that are non adult.
I own over 300 domains and I think 17 are adult.

If you read my post above I want to comment and continue here. As focusing on Google might not be the best place to focus.

As an example; About 200 of my domains are currently just sitting. Before the EMD update, other google updates and the closing of the google domains program all the sites were active and made a profit.

I put most of my eggs in the Google basket and Google broke them. Thus why a preach about not putting all your promotion into Google. Sure do the Google SEO, but don't stop there. Remember Google could change something that kills your business. Google has caused the closing and downsizing of MANY great websites. Ask Matt.

Bing might not have the volume that Google has, but the CPC is lower and the traffic is mostly higher quality for ecommerce and higher ticket items.

My referral reports from Analytics show that Google is not always the top referral source for several websites I manage. The competition on smaller sites is much lower in many niches.

Users sharing your site links is the number one way to drive traffic to your site. adult or non adult.
