I just installed this plugin 'wp-to-twitter' on and it works like a charm, your posts on the blog get Tweeted to your twitter account. If anyone needs it, it's a free plugin and very simple to install and activate.

I haven't used it in a while, but Feedburner used to do that very well without needing an extra plugin.

What happened to feedburner? Last i checked it was still burning my feeds. Haven't logged in in a while. So its gone now?

I use Snap plugin to auto post a few of my sites, especially the ones fed by feedwordpress. Snap will post new posts and you can also schedule reposts. It's handy but it does suck up some juice. I used to post to twitter and tumblr... i guess tumblr is a thing of the past now. To just post new posts there used to be some apps out there that would post from your RSS file.
