Will Ben Affleck get back with Jennifer Garner again?
My money would be on them over Affleck and Lopez getting back together for a 3rd time.
It will become a real love story if they both come back to each other.

food for thought...

In modern society, it is common to hear women speak openly disparagingly and insultingly about men who are conventionally referred to as “good guys”: hard-working, responsible, without bad habits, ready for serious relationships.

Even here in the community, it is easy to find comments from women who call such guys jerks, hidden tyrants, and other unflattering epithets. It is not difficult to find such comments. They are in almost every thread.

Instead of appreciating these qualities, many women call such men “boring,” “predictable,” and sometimes openly insult them, claiming that “under no circumstances should you tie your life to them.” Where did this paradox come from? Why have stability, kindness, and reliability suddenly become considered flaws, and why are men who demonstrate these qualities subject to ridicule and condemnation?

The first thing that comes to mind is the so-called “bad boy” culture and the romanticization of toxicity.
One of the main reasons for this attitude is the popularization of the “bad boy” image in mass culture. For decades, movies, music, and literature have romanticized rebellious men: those who break the rules, display aggression, and behave selfishly. This type of character is presented as a “real man,” while calm and reliable men are portrayed as weaklings. Women raised on such images subconsciously begin to associate a “good guy” with something bland and uninteresting. They expect emotional ups and downs, passion, and instability — because that's how it's shown in TV series. And when they encounter normal, healthy relationships, they feel that “something is missing.”

Another possible reason is the mistaken perception of kindness as weakness.
Many women mistakenly believe that if a man is kind, polite, and caring, then he is “weak.” This is a profound misconception based on stereotypes. In reality, being a good person is not about weakness, but about strength of character. But in a society where aggression and assertiveness are often mistaken for confidence, gentleness is perceived as a flaw.
Moreover, some women unconsciously test men for “strength” by provoking them to be rude or aggressive. If a man does not succumb to provocation, he is considered a “wimp.” This is an extremely toxic pattern of behavior that leads to choosing partners who are prone to abuse.

The exaggerated value of “emotions.” Another reason is the belief that “true feelings” are only possible in relationships where there is suffering, jealousy, and instability. Many women confuse love with emotional swings, and therefore stable relationships seem “bland” to them.
But the truth is that a healthy relationship is not about constant adrenaline, but about calmness, trust, and mutual respect. However, if a woman grew up in a dysfunctional family or had negative experiences, she may be subconsciously drawn to chaotic relationships because they seem “real” to her.

Another possible reason is the influence of feminist narratives. Contemporary radical feminist theses sometimes demonize traditional masculine qualities such as responsibility, the desire to provide for a family, and the desire to protect. Instead, the idea is promoted that any man is a potential oppressor, and his kindness is merely manipulation. As a result, some women begin to view men who sincerely want a serious relationship with suspicion. They look for a catch, not believing that a man can simply love and care without ulterior motives.

In addition, one possible reason for such prejudices may be a fear of responsibility and adult life.
A stable man is most often a man who is ready for a family, children, and a shared future. But if a woman herself is not ready for such commitments, she will subconsciously avoid “good guys” because they symbolize the adult life she is running away from. In addition, a relationship with a reliable man requires mutual effort, respect, and compromise. Meanwhile, a relationship with a “bad boy” allows her to remain in the position of a “victim,” relieving herself of responsibility for failures.

Why is this a problem? The danger of this way of thinking is that it leads women to unhealthy relationships, disappointment, and loneliness. In pursuit of a mythical “ideal,” they miss out on truly good men and then wonder why “all men are jerks.”
Men who are rejected for their kindness and stability eventually either become disillusioned with relationships in general or start playing by the imposed rules, pretending to be “bad.” In the end, everyone suffers.
Perhaps it's time to rethink your views and understand that a “good guy” is not a flaw, but a rare stroke of luck. And if a woman wants a happy relationship, she should learn to appreciate those who truly deserve it.
